I have a headset that needs to be replaces I am currently using a Lightspeed QFR Solo. It is ok but I m thinking I may want something a bit lighter and more comfortable for those 2-4 hr flights. David Clarks come highly regarded but are heavy head clamps. I am currently eying the Avcomm AC 900 and the PILOT USA's PA 1881T or the PA2170t all of which are PNR sets. The PA1270T is "non-clamping" design but kinda looks weak. MY question is: Does anyone here have any experience with any of these units. I might add ; I have a hearing aid in 1 ear and it is a behind the ear type which stays in when I fly, I fly a 140 and I would like to be able to plug in a I-pod/ MP3. Thanks to all for your input.
