I'm finally the proud owner of a 1962 PA-24 180. Things went as well today as they had throughout this 2 month long process including being able to fly it 2 hours earlier than scheduled.

I immersed myself in all the AD's and while it was in for the owner funded annual, I was in, out, and under this thing pointing out anything I knew of although my shop services 5 Comanche's and seem to be very knowledgeable. With that, the annual ran over $10k. Better him than me though.

Here are a photo of me full of pride standing to my new buddy just after my first hour of complex endorsement training. My wife and I should be signed off in it after just a few lessons. Then it's on to my Instrument rating and a lot of fun times.
