Is there any such thing as an inexpensive life raft that any of you carry in your planes when crossing over water?
I’m wanting to make a trip this summer out to Beaver Island in Lake Michigan and then on to Mackinac Island. I’d try to stay as high as I reasonably can and over land as much as possible. I can hardly imagine I would end up ditching in the lake, but I’m sure nobody expects to. I’m just wondering if there’s a life raft that would be worth having along just in case. I’m sure those waters are plenty cold even in the middle of summer.
