iPad 2 wi-fi 16 GB

My wife gave me a iPad 2 "bundle " from QVC.

It is Wi-Fi only & 16 GB.

We use the Mobile Hotspot on the cellphones as DSL , FIOS etc is not

available.

Planning to install Foreflight & use strictly VFR.

Memory sufficient?

Do I really need to get a Wi-Fi & cellular to

have something usable?

Apple treats as used although it is still in box.

I do have time to return to QVC and then ???
