Alrighty, another newbie question here. Haven't done much winter flying but plan to fly a long X-Country tomorrow AM from Ohio to Mississippi and back to pick up daughter at school and bring home for winter break. Anyway, it'll be about 20 degrees F when I take off tomorrow meaning my home fields DA will be about -2000 ft. Obviously, cruise altitudes will be cold too (planning 4500ft due to more favorable winds).
So, the question is this: How will my leaning procedures change (if at all)? I just have the 1 EGT gauge, so I lean to stumble and push in a bit... I'm guessing my procedure will be the same, but I likely won't have to pull the mixture lever nearly as far. Sound right?
Thanks!
