Hello everyone! First poster here!.. I have read through some posts here and the information is great! I am looking to buy my first plane. I am looking at a 1966 Comanche 260. I am wondering if you guys can tell me anything in particular to have a mechanic look for on a pre-buy??? The annual was just completed this month, its IFR certified with some older avionics. And I'll have to buy the plane and fly it about 900 miles home.
So, besides TT, TSMOH, engine compressions etc... what are things to consider? What should I be looking for?
