Hey gang,

How does everyone prefer to have their hobbs meter installed? Via oil pressure sensor/transducer, or via master switch/electrical system? Oil pressure will run the hobbs any time the engine is producing oil pressure, and master switch will turn the hobbs on anytime the electrical system is on.

My shop told me that master switch install is most preferred by clubs/flight schools/renters. Our aircraft is in a club, and my club president is not a fan of our master switch install...... Wanted to get everyone's opinion!

Thanks!
Adam
