Hey everyone, I have had a few problems with the motor on my Cherokee 140 (O-320-E2A) but those were solved by overhauling the mags and getting some new spark plugs. She runs beautifully Now But I've been getting abnormally high oil pressure, Or at least that's what the gauge says. Now, the needle hasn't touched the red line at 90psi yet but it's been just a hair away like maybe 85psi. The only odd thing I've noticed relating to oil is that I have a slight oil leak out of the case between the number 3 and 4 cylinders. I've asked a mechanic about that slight leak before and they said its no big deal. So all In all, what could cause the oil pressure to get so high? All temps are perfect and in the normal range. I don't think it's the gauge because it rises nice and smooth on startup and rises into the green for my run up... So if anybody has some theories, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!
