Thought I'd finally say hello. I've been lurking and learning since last year and this forum has been great with providing useful information. Bought this 1979 Archer II last October (to get my SEL addon) and other than flying it from the San Francisco area to Salt Lake City, it hasn't been in the air since(Did see 146kts ground speed though ). Hopefully soon though. To say I've had some project creep would be polite . So far I've put in new windshields + glare shield cover (which required lots of paint touchup), side window, had the tach and turn coordinator overhauled, pulled the fuel tanks for the service bulletin which led to a new right fuel transmitter and of course the new hoses, repacked wheel bearings, new front tire, new overhead console pieces, paint stabilator trim tabs, recheck the SB for the rear wing attach fittings, new teflon oil cooler lines, and so many more small things it's crazy, plus might as well get the annual signed off.....
Looking forward to some fun soon enough!
Edit:
Thought I'd throw a pic of my day job in the mix
