My name is Mark. I bought my first plane, a 1963 Cherokee 180, in Feb 2012. I started training in a Cherokee 140 at David Wayne Hooks in Houston. Then moved for a very short time to a Tomahawk before I found a great CFI with a Cessna 150 at LaPorte, Tx where I finished up and took the checkride in. I got my PPL 2-2011.
I would like to get my Instrument rating but for now I'm VFR. We travel as much as we can in the plane. It carries me, my beautiful wife, 19 YO son and 16 YO daughter just fine.
I'm looking forward to learning much from you guys.
