1973 Cherokee 180 (Archer 1). Last couple times getting fuel after flying for while, very very slow cranking with very high voltage draw. I'm thinking either the starter or solenoid are getting old and getting heat soaked. I'm looking for what the right sequence to check is. Will work with an AP, but looking for things I might test or connections to clean before they open on monday. Cold starts are fine, battery is relatively new, charging voltage seems fine. New copper cables from battery box forward about 3 years ago. My guesses are, connection to starter and or solenoid corroded or loose. Solenoid itself getting bad and heat makes it worse or starter getting bad and heat makes it worse.

Easy things to look at before I call on monday?
