Hello All

Wife and I are taking a trip From Ocala, FL to Indianapolis, Indiana in mid November. Whilst adding a quart of cheap engine insurance (SAE 50 Oil) to my craft I read the little label on the access panel which mentioned using lighter oils in colder temperatures.

I will be pretty close to needing an oil change about the time we depart. Should I plan to put some SAE 40 or 30 weight in the plane as we are heading north? Should I go with 20W-50? Or something else?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Regards
Russ
