GTN 650 Messages

Does anyone know if this unit has audio messages? When it prompts a message, it just flashes the MSG button, which is very easy to miss unless you're looking for it. Seems like a unit like this should speak the messages through the headset. Text to speech has been used even on their cheap car GPS units for years.

It has a system volume button, which as far as I can tell, just increases the button click sound volume.
