I really appreciate this forum and everyone here for all the help I’ve received and wisdom I’ve read this is a great community! I need some help deciding what to do. So I had a Cherokee 140 that I had basic instruments and a KLN 89B. I bought a GARMIN GNS 480 and a GMX 200 that I was going to install it in. Never got to install it, but I just sold the Cherokee because I bought an Arrow so I still have the 480 and 200. The Arrow I just bought has a 430W connected to a HSI and a KX155 connected to a KI 209. It also has a Garmin 696 panel mounted. Should I a) leave it as is b) remove the KX 155 and install the 480 for gps redundancy c) remove the KX 155 and get a non waas 430 for second com and gps redundancy or d) remove the KX 155 and add a GNC 355 for an updated gps with com. My ultimate plan is to add an autopilot as the current one is inop and I’m really looking into the Dynon HDX system. Open to any other thoughts and suggestions as well.
