I‘ve been thinking about it for a while and am now moving forward with installing the kit, Piper 765-199. Just got it delivered from Muncie Aviation….$917.00. I’m posting a picture of the complete kit laid out to see.

I’ve been through that system one too many times to want to deal with it anymore. I’m leaving it in override all the time now anyway because the gear works flawlessly that way. I think I now have a leak or possibly a blockage in the pitot, hoses or diaphram because it acts like the diaphram is not closing the hoof valve as it should. When in override the hoof valve is kept closed all the time by the mechanical linkage and that’s the way it is with the kit installed. With the kit installed the only time the hoof valve opens or even moves for that matter is when one does an emergency drop of the gear.
