I Just had a GTN 650xi navigator and GMC 350c audio panel installed. When I make a screen touch selection on the 650, I hear the acknowledgement click through the overhead speaker even when the speaker is deselected on the audio panel. There is only one output to the speaker shown in the schematic for the 350c so I assume it is a programed function. However, I can't find anything in the 650 menu to change that, only a click volume adjustment. The shop says most pilots have the volume turned all the way down as they don't like that feature but I think I might like it. Is this something that needs the Garmin secret software tool for the 350c to configure, or am I missing something?
