Garmin 300XL configuration help

Hello,

I have a 300XL that I want finally install in my P28-140. I have been reading and listening bunch of info and I would like your input and opinion about the best and economical configuration. I was told that I need to install an indicator and an annunciator and the installer can give me a field approval for IFR.

It looks like the most economical configuration is:

- 300XL
- MidContinent MD40 indicator
- MidContinent MD41 annunciator

Any feedback/ideas?
