I still have a month before my girl goes in for annual and I am thinking about making another upgrade or two while she is in there. after lots of reading I am leaning towards doing gap seals more for the low speed control authority then the top speed, but I do like speed, lol. I see both knots2u and lopresti make kits but I see knots2u is aluminum and says 14 hours labor to install and lopresti is composite and only 3-4 hours labor to install. does anyone have experience with these kits to know which is better? why is knots2u 10 hours more to install? estimating an A&P at $75 hr that is a $750 price difference. so far only mods are metco aire wingtips and shoulder harnesses. next more expensive upgrades will be an audio panel and converting to a standard 6pack. but I am always up for anything that can help on the outside too.
