as a new Comanche owner and the airplane in the shop for the first (expensive nose to tail ) annual, i could need a bit of help. we found the combined fuel screen/gasket of the original gascolator damaged and so i need a replacement part. as an interesting matter of fact, it is not easy to find that part (at least in europe). so maybe somebody can give me a hint where i can order a new one to bring the Comanche back in the air again. it is a 1962 24-180. located in germany and flying british registered. part number 486-164, not longer produced or distributed by Piper.
