'73 Challenger/Archer. The fresh air vent on the floor next to the pilot seems to have lost the ability block air when it is closed. I had a longer flight last week and the OAT was in the low 50's and ended up with pretty cold feet. I didn't look closely, but it seems as though the seal around the edges of the door that is closed by the metal lever have deteriorated.

Is there a replacement for that gasket or do I have to replace the entire valve?

I saw an "internet repair" where someone had created an owner produced part by fabricating a rubber seal and rebuilt the "door" with the new rubber seal. In the short term, I can stuff a something in the vent on cold days, but would like a more robust solution.
