I am planning to fly from Destin to Naples Fl. in November. The shortest distance is straight line across the gulf. How would you flight plan? Hug the coast. Rent a raft and fly over the water? Suggestions and recommendations requested. I have flown over the Rocky's many times with little concern, but this seems different.
