My external power plug door spring appears to have moved about a quarter turn and now won't hold the door closed. My plane has the standard round plug. My mechanic doesn't seem to know how to fix it. Besides 100mile an hour tape or Velcro. Has anyone had to replace the spring or reset it to the original placement. Any suggestion how to repair this will be greatly appreciated.
