About a month ago my engine started running a little rough. Nothing too concerning, however I know my plane and I know something is off. I took it in to have it looked at and the "roughness" was not really concerning to the mechanic. Today, I was playing around with my mixture both in the air and the ground and noticed that the engine seemed to be running rich.

When I ran the mix control back I had to go back quite a bit to get the engine at peak. On the ground I actually noticed that the engine would not stop when I drew both the throttle and mix back completely.

I think the two things are connected. Has anyone else been through this? Any insights?
