There is a 110v male plug near the oil dipstick on my Cherokee 180G, I feel like it is some type of engine heater. Is it a block heater, or does it just keep the oil warm? Is there a way to test it to see if it still works? How long does it need to be plugged in before a flight. On mornings it gets down to near freezing it is a bit harder to start.
