FAR 91.207 talks about ELT's in aircraft.

Could someone please offer some FAR language on whether an ELT is required in a 1946 J3-C65 aircraft (now a Clipped Wing Cub w larger engine), that is now under Experimental Exhibition Category, with no electrical system.

Also, any tips on a good self contained 406 ELT unit with no external airframe antenna.

Pretty sure we will go that route, but I'd like to see the FAR language first.

Thanks in advance.
