DME for IFR VOR approaches.

I have PA-32-260 and setting up for IFR training, I dont have any GPS.

I am looking for DME as i can do VOR approaches.
Please recommend a DME model, avionics shops around illinos that can help me to get DME and install it.
If anyone has upgraded their avionics, have DME remove that was in working condition and ready to sell to me please share you contact information.
