I'm resuming my quest for an Instrument rating, so my instructor and I spent some time today experimenting with power settings for a 100 kias airspeed and a 500 fpm descent. We ultimately came up with a manifold pressure of 14", 2400 rpm, with the first notch of flaps. I'm wondering whether Dakota drivers here have found something similar?
