I'm looking for a CFI or CFII in the Wichita, KS area who has Comanche experience. Any references would be welcome.
I'm pretty close to writing a check for half interest in a Comanche 250 (PA-24-250) based at Riverside (K32). I meet the technical requirements of the insurance company for being listed on the insurance, but if I were the underwriter, I wouldn't accept them since the logged hours are ancient and is all in a PA-24-180. Assuming the sale goes through, my personal minimums require a thorough checkout by someone who is well acquainted with Comanches. A CFII is preferred since I'll probably seque from that checkout into an IPC signoff using the same airplane.
