Hi Everyone!
Quick question about performing the sump on the comanche; because the sump is in the middle rather than a traditional exterior sump, I have a harder time verifying I'm sumping fuel and don't always have a chance to examine the sumped fuel.
Sometimes, what I do to verify good fuel flow from all four of my PA-24-260 is simply rotate the tanks while I'm taxiing (that is, have the fuel selector on each of the tanks for at least a minute while the engine is running). Is this an adequate way of ensuring flow is good from each tank? What more should I do to make sure dirt/water aren't clogging my fuel lines?
Thanks in advance!
