Hello there,
I am looking into buying a 1968 Cherokee 140. This particular one is located within a 6 hour drive from where I live in Canada. I am in Edmonton and the plane is located somewhere in Saskatchewan. So getting the plane would be easy and I don't have to worry about importing. It would be my first Airplane, so not sure how easy importing from the US even would be.
However, there are some nice Cherokee's in the US for a better price, or a later model such as 1976, similar in condition but less time on the Engine...

Do make my decision easier, does anyone know what the changes have been year after year? I would think Piper has made minor changes to their models every year. Is it wiser to import a newer plane?

Has anyone imported before?

Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks,
Andreas
