Cherokee 235 Landing light wire

Landing light went out the other day, and when I pulled it out to take a look, the lamp was fine, but the wire had broke. looks like this wire has been trimmed back and reused many times, to the point that its in bad shape and could really use a replacement. Problem is, I don't know which wire to use. Internet search has been fruitless, and even the parts manual doesn't seem to specify. Any ideas?
