HI will i have been dealing with probobly an original exhaust from 1968 that has been leaking out of 2 cylinders at the flange. tried new gaskets with no luck. So i sent my exhaust out to get rebuilt with new shrouds for the carb and cabin heat. The cabin heat was cracked up too.

As I am in the process of installing a engine monitor system I dont see the logic in putting egt probes in a crappy exhaust system, and it probobly will affect the temperature spread if two cylinder are leaking.

So I sent it too Aerospace welding in Minneapolis and go the quote back today, and Im a little shocked at the price. 2800 bucks. So for 2800 I will get basically a full exhaust built of out 321 Stainless ( not the shrouds) If I pull the trigget on this will it last a very long time.

Tell me that this is money will spent if I go through with it.

Thanks
Jay.
