Hello- Just joined the forum today since I'll be expanding my time in types to the Cherokee. I have little time in Pipers but have decided to get a check-out in a 1975 Archer 180 because the rental rate is too good to pass up, and the airport is closer to my home. Currently driving into Nashville flying out of KJWN in their C-172's. I have about 60 hours in a Mooney M20C years ago, but most of my hours are in the high wing Cessna and Citabria

What are some of the main differences I can expect in the Cherokee vs Cessna? I have been reviewing the POM and check-list in preparation. Also reviewed the sticky thread up top on approach speeds etc

Look forward to building time in the Piper and have actually started looking at Trade-A-Plane etc as the Cherokee 140 seems like a good economical flyer

Thanks in advance for any tips

-Y
