When I put my plane back in the hangar, I need to put my back into it pretty good, and I need to steer. After several dozen attempts, I have decided that I'm never going to develop a technique that will avoid the problem of the Piper towbar jumping out of its holes during this procedure, so I'm looking for a replacement towbar I can stow in my hangar and use to put my bird back in her nest.
I don't currently have a nose pant, but expect that one day I might, so I'd like a solution that works with the existing towbar tabs. (Is that a reasonable approach, or am I likely to eventually break those things off pushing the plane uphill and up ramps into the hangar? Should I be considering something else?)
Is this a good choice for what I want to do? Bogi-bar[/url:3ismqy5w]
