I left my Cherokee 180 in a county hanger should be considered a public hanger as there is no security. In addition its a small airport with a lot of politics and I am not well liked.

Plane flew well and I used 15 gallons out of both tanks pretty evenly. I put the plane in the hanger for a week. Pulled it out to go fly it and there's a substantial engine miss. I leaned it out and did a run up, slight miss at 2000. Mags check fine. Back to 1200 miss returns. Taxied around a bit very lean. Miss did not go away. I put it in the hangar and pulled fuel sample. The fuel is more clear then blue and hardly has the 100ll smell I'm used to.

I took a sample to a neighbor and compared to his fuel. Mine is definitely more clear and almost odorless.

Thoughts?
