Hey everyone,

so not the best day today, show up for a flight and I have a flat, its time to replace the nose wheel tire,
piper parts manual states a Good Year flight custom ii for the nose wheel, been searching on goodyears website and looks like its been discontinued I can't find it anywhere

Good Year lists a 6.00x6 nose tire in both 4 and 6 ply in a Flight Special ii, or a 6 ply in a Flight Custom iii

No matter what I want 6 ply so looking on what people think of the Flight Special ii vs the Flight Custom iii

One reason im leading to the Special ii is its in stock at Kadex in Canada, the Flight Custom iii I would have to order and be down a week

Also the Special ii is significantly less expensive, however this isn't a major concern

Interestingly the tire that's being removed is a Flight Custom iii, I was surprised at that, I had a Flight Custom ii on it when I purchased it and had it replaced 6/7 years ago with what I thought was another Flight Custom ii, its possible it was out of stock and the shop just installed a Flight Custom iii in its place

Thanks
Eric
