in doing some research my aztec seems to gave the naca style fuel tank vents, however it also has the tube style fuel vent that is basically a straight metal tube that sticks about 3/4 of an inch below the wing with a 45 degree angle cut in the end

im not sure if all Aztecs have this or not... isn't the tube style vent made redundant if the naca style vents are installed? can the tube be removed ?

I know that the faa issued AD 68-13-03 addressing fuel vent icing, and that the tube style vents are susceptible to icing and that the naca style vent isn't however this AD was for the Comanche....

please see pics below, I really am curious why my aztec has both vents and if this is normal or not. I came across the metco air tip tank installation drawings for an aztec with naca vents and it doesn't depict the tube style vent at all...
