‘Just wondering if it is customary to tip for an avionics installation. Installer was exceptionally cooperative, reasonable, and professional when installing a new transponder and 530W in our Dakota. He even threw in an avionics cert. and new intercom jacks. Coming from an industry where tipping was customary, I feel I should show my appreciation. I don’t want to be cheap, but don’t want to have my wife ask if I’m out of my freaking mind, either. Any suggestions?
