"This proposal would create a $100 per flight fee, payable to the FAA, by aviation operators who fly in controlled airspace. Military aircraft, public aircraft, recreational piston aircraft, air ambulances, aircraft operating outside of controlled airspace, and Canada-to-Canada flights would be exempted"

This is crazy, if this was to pass it will kill GA.

Scenario: In my case I usually take off from a Controlled Airport, pass thru a Class C and then land at Controlled Field. is that $300.00 ?? Even $100.00 it will be suiside for GA.

I hope common sense prevails but the Politicians these days are nothing but rational.
