Need some opinions on what would be better as an instrument/complex/commercial trainer for a small flight school.. I currently have a warrior that we use for PPL training with just the basic instruments. The arrow is 1968 180 hp with a 530w and autopilot. The mooney is a 1966 180 hp with a 430w and autopilot. The arrow is in the same hanger as I am in and is rarely flown but has new interior and generally looks good.. From what I can gather it has less than 400 smoh good paint, leather seats, etc. the mooney is not awful but needs some TLC. Has some fuel leaks on one wing and old paint, older interior and has only 450 smoh.. flew the mooney today, it was okay, impressed with the speed but have never flown an arrow Any thoughts?
