Anyone have a recommendation for an interior for the Arrow near South Jersey?
Plan was to order a complete interior from Airtex, but the wait time for receiving it is 14 weeks which will put me into the heat of the summer when installing it.
I've installed a half a dozen of their interiors and overall have been pretty satisfied. The one interior I wasn't satisfied was for a C-140 I was restoring to show status. When I called them to explain my disappointment with the fit of the patterns, the owner Don Stretch actually flew to my local airport (think he had a Cherokee 6) and came to my workshop with one of his workers. While Don and I measured up for new patterns, his worker installed a new wool headliner in the plane that was outstanding.
Sadly, Don lost his life a few years later on his way to Oshkosh (I think). I believe his son now runs the company from their original location in Fallsington Penn.
Thanks in advance.
