I just installed my plate because temps are starting to be less than 50F. Adding the plate on a 50F day makes my oil temps run from less than 180F to about 200F. Wish there was a control in the cockpit to regulate an opening in the plate so I could keep oil temps at 180F or better yet, a thermostat that controlled the temperature better. Should my plate have a hole in it to let some air pass?
