Got my 1983 Archer II back from engine shop 2 weeks ago (doing first oil change today). One unrelated thing I've noticed is that while taxiing between about 7 to 15 mph the plane has a significant rythmic bounce up and down that it didn't have before. I had put new Goodyear 3s on the mains about 25 hours before the overhaul with no issues. Thinking maybe they got somewhat out of round sitting for 2 months but that really shouldn't be with new inflated tires with less weight than normal on them. The struts seem fine. Does anyone know what are acceptable unloaded strut pressures for mains and nose?? There's all kind of notes about how much visible strut which I've always felt as bogus since you can rock it to whatever you'd like to see but nowhere can I find a pressure gauge number. Any other suggestions appreciated. I'm about to jack it up to shake and spin mains and check for any looseness. thx
