Greetings all.

Wife and I are discussing the summer trip. One idea kicking around is to go out west and then up to Fairbanks Alaska to visit my sister.

So anybody ever gone from say Seattle to Fairbanks? What route is recommended? I estimate 480nm hops of 4 hours each. Maybe go up the coast? I don't know enough about the route yet to know what is safest and least difficult as a route to the north.

Link to first attempt to plan a route

Any and all ideas welcome!

Regards
Russ
