I just earned my private pilot certificate and want to buy a plane. I trained on a Diamond DA 40 and have just under 100 hours. I have test flown both a new 2012 182 t and a 1981 turbo Arrow IV. I hated the high wing 182 and loved the arrow. However, I'm nervous about buying a 31 year old plane with round dials vs, a new glass panel. Whatever plane I buy is the one I'll use for my IFR rating. Any suggestions?
