We are moving an EFD1000 with 910-00003-001 RSM to our 1975 piper arrow and our avionics guy asked us to order the RSM doubler 503-00015-001

I have called Aspen and left messages, sent emails thru the website, and sent emails to Heidi (sales person) with no response. Anyone have an idea where I can find one? Thanks!

Make one. It's a chunk of aluminum. What kind of avionics guy can't fabricate a doubler? Has your avionics guy contacted Aspen? Your avionics guy will also need the permission letter to use the Aspen STC so they might as well talk to them.

I'll talk to him, we were trying to use the Aspen part just for piece of mind (ours not his), but the more I look, it does appear to be that most shops just fabricate. Thanks
