I asked the FSS specialist to say the winds again. I might have forgotten a flight or two, but I think that's the biggest gust factor I've landed with in 15 years of flying. I've touched down with stronger peak winds, of course, but never such a wide gust factor. It's more like what I hear about out on the Prairies/Great Plains.

(Gatineau Airport CYND this afternoon, landing runway 27, less than an hour after a major storm system had passed through. It was my second leg home from Fredericton CYFC after dropping my daughter at noon in St-Hubert CYHU for Montreal.)
