Well, Microsoft released the new Windows 11 yesterday and it is a free upgrade if you currently are running a licensed 64-bit version of Windows 10 AND, your computer meets the hardware requirements for Windows 11. If you are running the Home version, you get the Windows 11 Home version; similarly, you get the Professional version if you are running Windows 10 Professional. Many users are flunking the requirement to have Trusted Platform Module version 2.0 (TPM 2.0) hardware, but do not give up yet. This is a feature that you may already have but is turned off. There are some YouTube videos telling you how to turn this feature on. One of my computers required two changes in the BIOS settings and it worked fine. It seems to be stable and a little faster response than Windows 10. Enjoy!
