Happy Holidays to everyone on the Piper Forum. I am sure we will all get our share of ties and socks as Christmas gifts but below will detail a chance to get a Christmas gift every Piper Pilot dreams of. I hope to see everyone enter the contest and Happy Thanks giving to everyone.

Enter the POS and Evolution Aerostyling Piper "Dream Wings" Contest!

Does your Piper still sport the avocado-colored interior that was installed during the Johnson administration? Are you wishing that your airplane’s paint scheme wouldn’t conjure images of 1970s bell-bottoms, clogs, and discotheques? If so, enter your aircraft in the Piper “Dream Wings” Contest and have a chance at winning a make-over that will give your airplane the look and feel of a brand-new Piper!

Piper Owner Society (POS) and Evolution Aerostyling have teamed up to create the Piper “Dream Wings” Contest, a contest that any Piper owner can enter. If you feel you own a Piper that could use a major face lift, just submit a few exterior and interior photographs of your airplane, as well as a short story expressing why you feel your airplane needs the make-over. That’s all there is to it!

“We want to promote our company’s unique abilities with this exciting contest,” says Eric Hockman of Evolution Aerostyling, a company that specializes in giving older airplanes an updated appearance. “This is an incredible opportunity for a lucky Piper owner to have a one-of-a-kind interior installed and fresh paint applied,” Hockman adds. “If one were to have this work performed at retail value, it would cost $20,000!”

With this contest, no purchase is required. To enter the contest, submit your photos and story by sending a package to Piper “Dream Wings” Contest, Midland International Airport (MAF), PO Box 61075, Midland, TX 79711 or e-mailing the material to [email protected] This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . The deadline for entering the contest is December 31, 2010; the winner will be notified in early January, 2011, and will be announced to POS members in the March, 2011, edition of PIPERS Magazine.

Follow-up stories about the winner’s aircraft and story will be included in upcoming print issues of PIPERS Magazine. Readers will also be able to follow the build at http://www.dreamwingspiper.com.

Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have an airplane that represents the cutting edge of paint and interior design.

The benefits of the Piper “Dream Wings” Contest are courtesy of Evolution Aerostyling and promoted by POS. For complete rules and contest eligibility, go to http://www.piperowners.org or http://www.dreamwingspiper.com, or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: “Dream Wings” Piper Rules, C/O Evolution Aerostyling, PO Box 61075, Midland, TX 79711. Vermont residents with a return address located in Vermont may omit return postage. Limit one (1) request per outer envelope.
