I'm looking for an Archer II with at least the following:

  • 1000 or less SMOH [/*:m:105y518x]
  • < 10 yr old paint & interior [/*:m:105y518x]
  • Garmin 430 or better [/*:m:105y518x]
  • functional autopilot coupled to the 430 [/*:m:105y518x]
  • engine & fuel flow monitor [/*:m:105y518x]
  • wheel pants [/*:m:105y518x]
  • useful load > 950 lbs (the more, the better) [/*:m:105y518x]
  • less than $73,000 [/*:m:105y518x]
I know, I know, I'm asking for a lot :) , but I know they're out there - I just missed making offers on 2 of them in the last 2 months.

I'm willing to compromise on the avionics if the paint, interior, and engine are in good condition (and the price is adjusted accordingly).

I want a plane that I can take my friends & family up in without them wondering if anything is going to fall off of it

I will be doing a full annual and corrosion check on any plane that I put a deposit on, so don't try to pull anything over on me :D

Send me a private message if you have one to sell...

It is an Archer just a little more streched with a couple more seatsb and handles about the same, which is great like all pipers and they call it the six

I have a 1979 Archer II. TTAE is only 1250 hours. Replaced the original factory paint about 18 months ago with Jet Glo. All else is like it came out of the factory. Has a GX-55 to replace the Loran that it had originally. Based in San Diego now. Should be within your budget.
